My name is Danika, I am the founder of The Grace Space Co. (TGS) and I’m so glad you’re here! I created this space as a response to a calling to help women grow in their relationship with their Creator, the almighty God. I pray that everything you find here revives your faith and your walk with God. 

The Story

I didn't always know God. I mean, I thought I did, I grew up in a Christian school, I've heard most of the Bible stories, but I didn't have a relationship with Him.

About 8 years ago I found myself in a very difficult and lonely place. I realized my life goals and my life choices were not in alignment with each other. I knew I needed a change so I decided to give God a chance. I started reading the Word, praying, and journaling my journey until I finally gave in and gave my life to Him - I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. 

As I reflect on the pasts years, I clearly see His hand all over my story. I am now a wife to a loving husband and a mother to two handsome little boys -Leo & Andre- who fill my life with chaos, joy and purpose. 

But don’t get me wrong, I am not implying my life is perfect, that I have it all figured out or that I’m even a good Christian. Cause truth is, I'm pretty far from that. God knows, I struggle in so many ways and I often fail to act in ways that honor Him.

However, in spite of my shortcomings, I recognize my need for Him is greater than anything in this world and my heart's desire is to continue to grow in Him and help other women do the same. 

Now, to be completely honest, for years I’ve fought this urge. Every time I felt the need to talk about Him or to use my talents and creativity to glorify Him” I resisted because I didn’t believe He could use me like that.  You may know know this as "Imposter Syndrome" but I convinced myself that I was not good enough, brave enough, and/or creative enough.

So every time I felt a nudge to follow this desire I held myself back. Yet, He insisted:

“I saved you and chose you so that you may declare the praises of My glory to others, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something (1 Peter 2:9-10). 

"Don't be afraid" "I am with you" (Isaiah 41:10)

Matthew 5:14-16 says “...You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven."

And so, by faith, here I am. Guided by God, pouring my talents, my testimony, and love for Him into this ministry called The Grace Space Co.

The Name

The Grace Space Co. represents the safe space we find at the feet of Jesus. A place that we can come at anytime - with any thing- and not be judged or ashamed. 

John 8:1-12 talks about a women who was caught sinning and was brought to Jesus in front of a crowd to be condemned. At that moment instead of judging or condemning her, Jesus bent down and said out loud “Let him who has no sin, be the first to throw a stone at her.” When no one could stone her, Jesus looked at the women and said “Neither do I condemned you, go and sin no more” 

That’s God's Grace resumed.

In His presence we are welcomed with open arms. Jesus is a safe place where we can come as we are but we will never stay as we came. His unconditional love, undeserved forgiveness, never ending grace & mercies change us from the inside out.  

That's the love I've experience since I welcomed Him into my life. And so I deeply believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the kind of love and grace that only He can provide.
